JROTC is about much more than uniforms and drills. It’s about leadership, character, citizenship, service, and preparing students for what comes next.
In this episode of More to the Story, we sit down with Lt. Col. (RET) Ronald Tucker and Master Sergeant (RET) Alexander Bailes to explore how JROTC is helping students across Hillsborough County Public Schools build confidence, take on leadership roles and develop skills that will serve them in college, careers and life.
We also tackle one of the biggest misconceptions about JROTC: Students do not have to pursue military service to benefit from the program. The skills and experiences they gain can prepare them for virtually any path they choose.
