So, you want to be a teacher?
Let us help you reach that goal! Join district personnel on select Tuesdays at 10:00 a.m. and Thursdays at 5:30 p.m. to learn how to become a certified teacher. These sessions are for career changers who do not have degrees in education or prior teaching experience and who are interested in participating in the district’s Alternative Certification Program (ACP). All hiring events are tentatively scheduled. Individual events may be cancelled and/or postponed based on school hiring needs.
Most events are by invitation only. District personnel will provide opportunities for different groups of applicants (ie: interns or out-of-state) to be interviewed and possibly hired for instructional positions. Be sure to click individual dates to learn more about the event and to register.

All teachers new to education and/or new to our district are expected to attend New Teacher Academy. Trainings will occur via Zoom. At employee processing, information regarding registration for the trainings will be provided.
